Title: "The Chase's Run Family"

The start of a new semester can be a very stressful time, new classes, teachers, books, and friends. It can be a lot to handle but I manage it with the help of my roommates and neighbors; therefore, when I was asked to draw a picture of myself in my current environment, it would have been impossible for me to leave them out. This is a sketch of what you see when you walk into my apartment. In the kitchen is my brother, Patrick, who i live with and is also my best friend, with his girlfriend, Leah, who lives down the street from us. Since I started college the two of them have been like the mom and dad of the neighborhood. In the hallway is my new neighbor Brandi. She lives with Leah and adjusted to the chase's run (that's the name of our complex) family with ease. She is holding a stack of books because all week I have been helping her find her way around campus and schedule her classes so when I think of her I think of school. On the chair in the corner is my other roommate, Jackie, and in the center of the room is me. I am holding a stack of books in this picture because the day I drew this I had just bought all my books and was a bit stressed out about school and my classes. Next to me is Pat's dog, Emma, the cutest American Bulldog you will ever meet. Now you have met my chase's run family, they are much better looking in person i promise. ;)
